Naked-Juice-LogoRiverwalk Fort Lauderdale will host its Fall Get Downtown presented by Naked Juice event at YOLO Plaza (located at 333 East Las Olas Boulevard) from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2015. Now in its 17th year, Get Downtown is Fort Lauderdale’s largest outdoor cocktail hour and offers the best flavors of Fort Lauderdale from a variety of local restaurants and bars. Admission includes two complimentary drink tickets to be redeemed at any bar in the courtyard, sponsored by Three Olives Vodka, Premier Beverage  and Stephens Distributing; entertainment by DJ Darryl and an array of tastes from some wonderful Ft. Lauderdale dining venues. Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale is continually striving to promote a greater sense of community throughout Fort Lauderdale’s Riverwalk Park and the Downtown district.

Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale and Covenant House Florida  are excited to announce the return of BACON BASH on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 7pm to 10pm. As a ticketed, 21 and over event this year, attendees will enjoy bacon inspired dishes, both sweet and savory, from several local restaurants and food trucks throughout Esplanade Park. Prepare to be amazed at what restaurants cook up and prepare to be as “happy as a pig in poo” when you leave. Wear your swine swag and pig out with us at Bacon Bash with DJ Two Story Lori at this rain or shine event.

Prepaid Tickets are available NOW! General Admission tickets ($35 prepaid) will get you access to unlimited delicious bacon infused food tastings. Or, treat yourself to the VIP Biergarten Experience ($75 prepaid) which will cover general admission plus access to unlimited tastings of craft beers from Funky Buddha , Barrel of Monks, Wynwood Brewing Company, Florida Beer Company. and other local breweries as well as bourbon samplings from Angel’s Envy, Michter’s, William Grant & Sons and Woodford Reserve.

This year’s event is a casual two-hour cruise aboard the four deck, one-of-a-kind mega yacht; the Liberty Belle courtesy of our partners Anticipation Yachts and Riverfront Cruises. This Riverboat Social is $40 PP and includes open bar, food, music and a beautiful sunset cruise along the Intracoastal. Refreshments sponsored by Premier Beverage and Stephens Distributing.

This sizzling event will pit sixteen (16) top burger joints and restaurants against one another as they show off their creative juices and grilling skills to 1200+  guests along the scenic New River. Check out our Burger Eating Contest Sponsored by Stevens & Goldwyn, P.A.,  with burgers provided by BurgerFi. The Battle brings together South Florida burger aficionados for an evening of gourmet burger creations, cocktails, beers and fun, while raising funds to support the Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale’s mission of building and nurturing a vibrant community connected by the New River.
