Sunday Jazz Brunch

The Sunday Jazz Brunch is an ideal way to relax and enjoy Fort Lauderdale’s scenic Riverwalk. This free, live outdoor concert series features the area’s best local jazz artists. Listen to the music on three different stages on the first Sunday of each month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Well-behaved leashed pets are also welcome to attend Sunday Jazz Brunch. There is plenty of room to set up chairs, blankets, and picnic baskets to experience the fabulous entertainment. Event goers can also stroll along the historic brick-lined walkway to enjoy live music while browsing items from local merchants and enjoying food from area restaurants.

5th Annual Stone Crab & Seafood Festival

Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale is proud to announce the 5th Annual Stone Crab & Seafood Festival Presented by Grille 401 on Saturday, January 16, 2016, from 11am  to 5pm at Esplanade Park in Downtown Fort Lauderdale.  The festival is a free celebration of the local South Florida Seafood Industry and highlights some of Fort Lauderdale’s favorite seafood restaurants as they serve up fresh stone crab claws and an array of select seafood dishes starting at only $5.  Seafood lovers of all ages are welcome to come out rain or shine and enjoy a day of great food, drinks, live music, games (including the crowd-favorite hermit crab races), prizes and more! This year Riverwalk’s Craft Beer Garden will be sponsored by Funky Buddha! Pre-paid tickets for the beer garden will be available on December 1st – January 15th for the early bird price of $20 for unlimited tastings from Funky Buddha and other local breweries. Beer Garden tickets at the event will be $25.

Light Up Lauderdale Kicks off with the GET LIT on November 12th

Light Up Lauderdale is a ten week celebration of glittering holiday lights and holiday garland presented by Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale and the City of Fort Lauderdale. Join us as we flip the switch to kick off this year’s festive Light Up Lauderdale display at the Get Lit event on Thursday, November 12, 2015. In its seventh year, this free holiday spectacular showcases the two and half mile brick Riverwalk pathway on both sides of the New River in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Parking may be easily found in multiple garages, parking lots or at meters throughout Downtown area.

Get Lit will take place at Esplanade Park on Thursday, November 12th; 6:00pm – 8:30pm. This family friendly kick off to the holiday season will include live holiday musical performances by the Broward Center Spotlights, and the Bobby Rodriguez Orchestra, train rides, sleigh rides, kids crafts, face painting, vendors and more!

 

We encourage you to bring an unwrapped toy for less fortunate children in our community.

Join Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale on Sunday, October 18th, 2015 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the 3rd annual Smoke on the Water BBQ Feast. Admission is FREE and open to all ages.

Enjoy BBQ items starting at only $5, live music by the Steel Brothers Band, cold beer, and activities for the whole family at Smoke on the Water BBQ Feast. Participants include: Smokey C’s Catering, Pirate Brother’s BBQ, Bare Bones BBQ & Jerk,  Mr. Cobb’s Barbecue, Sweet Dewey’s BBQ, Smokin Hot Ribs and Wings and Jerk Juice Bar & Grill

Those 21 and over can enjoy a beer garden provided by Stephens Distributing “The Official Beer Sponsor” of Riverwalk’s 3rd Annual Smoke on the Water BBQ Feast. Pre-sale passes for the beer garden are on sale now for the reduced price of $20. The pre-sales will be available until Friday, October 16th. Passes will also be at the event for $25.

Join us at Esplanade Park on Saturday, September 19th as we say goodbye to the summer and welcome fall fun at the inaugural Riverwalk Fall Festival. Spend the day with fall carnival themed games, activities and competitions. The Coral Springs School of Rock   and the School of Rock West Broward  will be performing live. An assortment of vendors and food trucks will also be on site for your enjoyment.

This FREE event is open to all ages and well-behaved pets too (on leash). Feel free to bring along your lawn chairs to enjoy this afternoon of fun.**No outside alcoholic beverages or coolers allowed**
