Jack & Jill -Prospective players for the Florida Panthers visited the Jack & Jill Center, the longest-running nonprofit provider of early childhood education in Broward County, in July. The players participated in activities with students in Jack & Jill Center’s Early Education program and Elementary School including food-themed projects and STEAM activities.
Third Annual Artful Minds -NAMI Broward County’s Third Annual Artful Minds event, which included networking and light bites, showcased the work of artists living with mental health disorders, was held June 1 at MAD Arts.
38th Annual All Heart Volleyball Challenge – The Ann Storck Center, a Fort Lauderdale-based private nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, hosted its 38th Annual All Heart Volleyball Challenge in Pompano Beach on June 15th.

Guy Harvey Foundation – The Guy Harvey Foundation celebrated its second annual International Ocean Film Festival Fundraiser in Fort Lauderdale on June 8. Proceeds from the film festival, raffle and silent auction support the foundation’s education and outreach efforts.
Big Brothers Big Sisters Scholarships – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County awarded $434,000 in scholarships to 71 high school graduates who participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County mentoring program at its second annual BIG Futures Scholars Celebration on May 9.
Night of Literary Feasts – The Broward Public Library Foundation celebrated its 35th annual Night of Literary Feasts on April 13. The event raised more than $160,000 for the Broward County Library system.
