The Broward Center for the Performing Arts and AEG Presents bring the We are Two Different People Tour starring Danny Gonzalez and Drew Gooden with special guest Kurtis Conner to the Amaturo Theater on Tuesday, September 17 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Tuesday, May 28 at 1 p.m.
Audiences can expect a night of brand new comedy songs, live comedy sketches, roasts and improv all in an effort to prove Gonzalez and Gooden, who are commonly mistaken for each other, are two different people.
Gonzalez is a comedic YouTube star whose talents range from acting, singing and bringing to life the worst aspects of internet celebrity fandom. With a fan base that is endearingly referred to as “Greg,” Gonzalez’ passion for creating brand-safe and hilarious content started on Vine and, after making the switch to YouTube, has continued to grow his following at an explosive rate.
As a Vine sensation, Gooden has risen in the ranks of YouTube stardom to become one of the platforms most genuine and intrinsic comedic sensations. Combining commentary and sketch comedy gold, Gooden provides insights toward everyday trends and topics that otherwise would go unnoticed.
Conner, who will be the opening act, has more than 1.3 million subscribers on YouTube. His comedic videos have garnered nearly 64 million views.
