Jodi Jeffreys-Tanner, Founder & Curator of Las Olas Capital Arts, is thrilled to announce her tenth featured artist – Virginia Fifield! Working in high realism, Fifield presents selectively edited subjects of the natural world, in the form of portraiture. Chosen images are “re-presented” in a stark, over-scale format, deliberately devoid of color and context to strip away all sentimental, commercialized, and stylized stereotypical associations. With these drawings, Virginia seeks to inspire a deeper connection to, and awareness of, the natural world. We are so excited to share her spectacular works with you. We hope to see you at her reception on Thursday, February 28th from 6:00 to 9:00 at our offices on Las Olas Boulevard.
