In observance of Indie Author Day, Saturday, October 12th, the Main Library is hosting a panel discussion, The Path to Self-Publishing: The Pros and Cons.   Panelists will discuss book ownership rights, traditional publishing versus self-publishing, creating marketing strategies and goals and other related topics.   Publisher Judy Borich will moderate the discussion with authors Craig Moody, Timothy Leistner, Simone Kelly, John Bowen and Valerie Vilmer serving as panelists.  This is a great opportunity for aspiring writers as well as publishers to learn the process and network.  The Broward County Library Local Authors Program and Florida Center for the Book are the sponsors for this event.
