Art and home décor converge again at the Salvation Army’s 5th Annual Red Shield ReDesign Bash.  This signature event features hand-picked pieces of furniture and home accessories that were transformed into one-of-a-kind art pieces by local artists, designers, and DIY hobbyists.

The cool and casual vibe is typical Fort Lauderdale, but the event’s unique cocktail experience and culinary delights definitely elevates the atmosphere to match the level of elegance and creativity established by the redesigners.

“The idea for the ReDesign Bash began 5 years ago.  It is brilliant in the way it gives the artists an opportunity to make something new…to give new purpose to something, much the same way that The Salvation Army assists people in remaking their lives,” said Advisory Board Member and Honorary Chair Ginny Miller. The Bash brings people together for a fun evening that also helps make life better for so many.  Our Redesigners are the stars and our heroes.”

Proceeds from the auction and event support The Salvation Army’s Open Door Shelter located on west Broward Boulevard.
