Join the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) for a virtual ribbon-cutting program to unveil and explore the new Sprouting STEM Early Childhood Learning Lab powered by PNC Grow Up Great on October 27 at 10:30 a.m.

· This family-friendly event will include a virtual tour of the new Sprouting STEM Early Childhood Learning Lab, storytime, creature feature, STEM Activity with a MODS Early Childhood Educator.

· The Sprouting STEM Early Childhood Learning Lab allows our community’s littlest scientists (ages 0-6) and visitors to expect a sensory-rich play environment that enhances the connection between children and caregivers through an immersive, exploratory and interactive early childhood space.

· The space features an inviting, oversized and fantastical version of lush, nature-filled Florida backyard complete with native plants and wildlife.

· Our Sprouting STEM Learning Lab is powered by PNC Grow Up Great.

· Since 2004, the PNC Grow Up Great program has been helping children from birth through age 5 develop a passion for learning that lasts a lifetime.

· The Sprouting STEM classroom will be MODS’ early childhood headquarters for our onsite programming, and it also is designed to support mobile outreach and professional development for educators.

· The Museum’s commitment to early childhood outreach is a deeply rooted pillar in our heritage, and MODS believes every young child should have equal access to high-quality science learning.
