Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, a historic and whimsical, 35-acre subtropical estate located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, is hosting a Special Family Day on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.
The exciting day will offer a wide variety of family activities which include:
- Live music performances by the Gold Coast Youth Orchestra in the lovely courtyard at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
- From 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. there will be STEM Environmental Labs and STEM Design Activities and Projects to take home.
- Guests can also follow a treasure map of what to find on the Bonnet House estate and interact with the Mounted Police Horse Unit and K9 Police.
In addition, families can enjoy tours of the historic house museum filled with a delightful collection of art and personal treasures from the Bartlett family, as well as explore the nature trails filled with native plants, trees, and an occasional monkey.
Visitors can experience this Special Family Day like never before with a $10.00 admission for adults (historically $12.50) and free admission for Broward County Teachers and those 13 and under.
