Florida Grand Opera’s SongFest Series contains three concerts that explore music written by the contemporaries, teachers, and pupils of the mainstage season’s opera composers. For the 2018/19 season, the composers are Puccini, Mozart, Rodriguez and Massenet. At SongFest, context is the key: both treasured classics and little-known masterpieces are combined to provide a deeper understanding of the season’s operas – La bohème, The Marriage of Figaro, Frida, and Werther.

Each concert will be performed by members of the FGO Studio.
