• Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery presents SMARTWalk on Saturday, August 28; an event to showcase local artists and art displays, specialty cocktails, dining options, live music and hands-on activities including “Paint the Pint”.
• Each Art Show will take place at the Rum Bar Lounge inside Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery and will feature specialty cocktails highlighting each artist of the month.
• During the month of August, art created by featured artist Sydney Steele, founder of The Cash Monet will be displayed.
• Sydney is a native of Cherry Hill, New Jersey, lover of art and has an extreme passion for creating original hand printed canvases, posters and custom art.
• The Cash Monet’s customized work includes:
  • Acrylic Blocks and Prints
  • Beach Towels
  • Blankets
  • Canvases
  • Sneakers
  • Tapestries
• Guests can do a Meet & Greet with Sydney Steele whose pieces of customized art will be displayed and available for purchase.
• Additionally, Sistrunk Marketplace has launched a “Global Mural” project on the exterior of their building and each month during SMArtWalk, they will showcase a LIVE painting by an artist of choice.
• The purpose of this mural is to bring the community together through the arts. The mural will be constantly revolving not only by expressing Sistrunk Marketplace & Brewery’s love for the arts but also expressing love for the planet.
• Arty Van Gogh Bus “Paint the Pint” will be available to attendees in the parking lot. All materials, paints and supplies will be provided for guests to create and design their own pint glass for $10. All proceeds benefit Art Reaching Today’s Youth, Inc. (“ARTY”) which was established in 2016 for the means of providing visual art classes to the underserved children of Broward County.
