Seraphic Fire presents Romantic Masterpieces in Week One of the Enlightenment Festival
Seraphic Fire, South Florida’s GRAMMY®-nominated, professional vocal ensemble, presents the first week of the Enlightenment Festival celebrating both Icons and Hidden Figures in the Romantic era. Led by conductor James K. Bass, 13 world-class singers will perform expressive songs from both brilliant, yet underrecognized composers – Clara Schumann, Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor – and artists who have traditionally defined the era – Robert Schumann, Felix Mendelssohn, and Franz Schubert. Immerse yourself in memorable melodies and passionate lyrics in an evening that celebrates the beauty and diversity of Romantic choral music. Week 2 performance features works by Martines, Mozart, and Haydn on Saturday, March 8 at 7:30 pm in All Saints Episcopal, Ft. Lauderdale.
