Young At Art Museum will open one hour early at 10:00 am for families of children and adults with autism or other sensory integration sensitivities on Sunday, October 13th for a fun-filled day of Spooktacular activities in a safe and welcoming environment. In partnership with UM-NSU CARD, guests are invited to get into the Halloween spirit early and show off their costumes while getting creative in a Yayoi Kusama inspired “Kusama Dot Pumpkins” workshop or at our “My Pet Spider” art station from 10am – 12pm, with supplies included. Kids can get active from 11-11:30am at our “Move-It Sunday Not-so-Scary Dance Party” with a special Trick-or-Treat activity where children and adults of all abilities will have fun with musical movements and dances with their friends. Finally, attendees can join guest artist Christian Spencer for a special story time reading at 11:30.October’s Sensory Sunday is FREE for CARD Families and is included with Museum Admission for the general public: $14 per person; $12 for Broward County residents, seniors and children over age 1; and $11 for military members and their immediate families. Young At Art Museum is located at 751 SW 121 Ave. in Davie.
