Join United Way of Broward County’s Commission on Behavioral Health & Drug Prevention, in collaboration with the Broward Behavioral Health Coalition and The Florida Department of Children & Families, for its annual “Rompiendo Estigmas” Conference on Saturday, April 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Signature Grand.
- The Conference, which will be presented in Spanish ONLY, will engage parents in a conversation about topics related to how to communicate directly and honestly with their children, to be a positive influence in their lives, and how to improve their self-esteem and relationships with others.
- This year’s keynote speaker will be Vicente Passariello, a Life and Business Strategist, lecturer, and specialist in the transformation of the human being through Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Passariello is also a Certified Professional Communicator by the best teachers including Richard Bandler (co-creator of NLP), Tony Robbins (the world’s greatest strategist), Less Brown (international speaker), Deepak Chopra (Endocrinologist and speaker). He is the author of the book Sin Máscara (Without a Mask) and the book and audiobook 365 Afirmaciones para tu poder interior (365 Affirmations for your inner power). In addition, Passariello is the Spanish voice for Tony Robbins’ Ultimate Edge product.

o Sonia González Boysen, CEO & Founder of CLIC Mentors. She is a renowned international speaker, best-selling author and the creator of the NCI Methodology – New Intelligent Communication. She has helped over 100,000 companies and leaders, executives, and entrepreneurs at leading Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and LATAM.
o Natasha Cheij, a Colombian journalist and presenter. She currently lives in Miami. She is a TV host whose program is broadcast in the United States and Latin America.
o Susana Illera Martínez, writer and award-winning multi-genre author of short stories, poetry, and children’s literature. She was recently selected by Disney’s Editorial Group and Penguin Random House to publish El don de una familia / The Gift of Family; the first bilingual picture book based on the movie Encanto.
o Aurelio S. Figari, former professional soccer player, Master Trainer with Strong Nation, fitness educator and promoter of healthy lifestyles through fiscal care and mental health will be the Master of Ceremonies.
