The battle for the best ice cream in town has arrived!  The Riverwalk Ice Cream Challenge is a month-long celebration of all things creamy and cold, paying homage to National Ice Cream Month.  Throughout the month of July, top restaurants and ice cream parlors go all out in a tub-to-tub fight for the title of Fan Favorite with their delicious dairy and non-dairy delights.  Ice cream aficionados will vote for their favorite dairy creation in an online poll and at the end of the month, the restaurant or parlor with the most votes gets eternal bragging rights of having the best ice cream in Fort Lauderdale for 2020.

Even as businesses begin re-opening during the COVID-19 pandemic, many are still struggling to attract customers.  The Riverwalk Ice Cream Challenge hopes to drive customers to local restaurants and ice cream parlors while having a little fun in the process.

The Riverwalk Restaurant Challenge is hosted by Hoffman’s Chocolates and HR Law Pro.  The contenders are Cold Stone Creamery, Dairy Belle Ice Cream, Hoffman’s Chocolates, Holy Mackerel, Jaxon’s Ice Cream Parlor, Kilwins (Las Olas), Le Marche (Hilton Beach Resort), Menchie’s Five Points Plaza, Riverside Hotel, Schakolad Chocolate Factory, Top Round, Wilton Creamery and Yo Mama’s Ice Cream.   The winning restaurant or ice cream parlor will receive a one-of-a-kind trophy to proudly display at their business sponsored by WITHmyDOC.

After ordering their tasty treat, aficionados are encouraged to say “sweet” and take a selfie with their creamy craving before it melts.  When they post these photos to the Riverwalk Ice Cream Challenge Facebook group, they could be selected for the weekly “Sweet Selection” and receive a prize from our social media sponsor, Holy Mackerel.
