Renowned for his exceptional skills on the electric piano, organ, Mellotron, and Moog synthesizer, Wakeman shaped the progressive rock landscape as a key member of YES and The Strawbs. Wakeman’s contributions to music were acknowledged by Queen Elizabeth II, who honored him as a Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 2021.
