Please note that you must be a City of Fort Lauderdale resident in order to participate in a Quarterly Tree Giveaway Event. Residency will be verified. Completing the registration form does not guarantee you a specific tree(s) as these are given away on a first come first serve basis.Trees received through this program are intended to be installed solely on private property, as they are too small to be installed within the right of way (ROW) swale areas. For information on the City’s program for planting trees in the ROW swale, see the Adopt-a-Tree program.
