About Valeria: Artist Valeria Castellanos is a Senior at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She has had a passion for art from a very young age. When she was diagnosed with ADHD as a young girl, she discovered art as a creative outlet to help with her symptoms and as a way to connect with others. Art has helped her excel in school, making her one of the top art students in her class. She loves to collaborate with others on projects as part of her creative process and she uses bright colors mixed with both real and fictional subjects to create her pieces. Every piece of her art tells a story that she hopes will inspire others.
