About Cori: Cori Carroll is an artist of painting and photography, based in Pompano Beach, Florida. Cori has always been a fan of the beautiful Florida sky, the tropical colors of Broward County, and the water and sunlight surrounding everything in South Florida. She captures lots of beach scenes with her camera and gets busy with canvas and paints to interpret the scenes and feelings of her environment. Having painted one semester in high school, she is thrilled to have connected with art again. Cori is a student of Pompano Beach artist and teacher Jeremy Lytle. Her work is seen regularly at the Broward Art Guild and at Piper Gallery and Studio. Cori’s paintings and photographs include seascapes, florals, and abstracts. Many of these have been included in monthly online art exhibits at LightSpaceTime.art Her painting “Two Sails” was awarded first place overall in a Seascape exhibition at this online gallery.
