Photographic Cubism Contemporary Art
Pierre Pepin engages the public to interact directly and indirectly with the processes of his art medium. His research enables the artist to represent transparency in the depth of eld and texture and through both reected and non-reected light eect. The artist builds and sculpts physically by hand with translucent acetate, through polarized lters creating images freezing one moment in time, space, and the 3D dimentional dynamic images, colors, transparencies, and shapes. The painting with light source behind to vividly show the art of the paintings for full vitality, tone and/or the variety of contrast of the color spectrum. The fashion industry welcomes this new art to create fabric décor as well. Pierre Pepin is an International Transdisciplinary Professor in Art, (PhD) 2009 graduate of the University of Quebec in Montreal, Canada. As a professor in ne art, design, computer graphics, photography, virtual reality, sculpture, media and technology he explores many approaches and techniques with versatility and creativity. He is an active international artist and teacher who constantly researches new ways to use manual and electronic processes for experimentation and approaches to art for museums, galleries, schools and universities and through national and international workshops. His newest art forms in dynamic movement show his creativity and brings to the arts, “Painting and Sculpting with Light”.
