A Wider Bridge is the North American LGBTQ organization (501c3) building a movement of LGBTQ people and allies with strong interest in and commitment to supporting Israel and its LGBTQ community.

A Wider Bridge invites you to meet Eyal Migdalovich, creator of the Israeli LGBTQ Refugee Program, a project of the Aguda – Israel LGBTQ Taskforce, and Ohad Hizki, CEO of the Aguda.

Eyal and Ohad will share their experiences of ongoing outreach and trust-building with LGBTQ Palestinian, Arab and African refugees and asylum seekers, within Israel and beyond. Included will be a video testimonial from a Palestinian refugee who sought asylum in Israel, and now lives in Sweden.

Founded four years ago, the Israeli LGBTQ Refugee and Asylum Seekers Program was created to directly assist marginalized LGBTQ refugees and asylum seekers with legal, psychological and financial services, and access to health care, housing and employment.
