United Way of Broward County’s NextGen United to host “Good for the Heart. Good Deeds and Good Times” event at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park on Thursday, February 17, 2022.

·The event will begin with an energetic and fun 30-minute workout class led by Kashawn Fraser, Founder of FitnessAtYourDoor and United Way of Broward County Alexis de Tocqueville donor.

· Following the workout, participants will be invited to enjoy a complimentary cocktail, light bites and networking at Park & Ocean, a restaurant and garden located inside Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, at 3109 E. Sunrise Blvd. in Ft. Lauderdale.

·Attendees are asked to bring an exercise mat, water, towel, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat and jacket.

·Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided for safety measures.

·NextGen United is a network of emerging leaders (35 years old or younger) who share a passion for advancing community solutions in their own backyard. Through networking events, hands-on volunteering opportunities and innovative leadership trainings, NextGen United leverages the power of United Way to connect, serve and grow – both personally and professionally.
