“Remember the Times” is a fun, nostalgic and lively entertaining musical production that will have you dancing, singing and laughing straight through. Take a trip with New Canon Chamber Collective down memory lane as we pay a musical tribute to theme songs from the most iconic Black American sitcoms in history. Featuring original sitcom and commercial theme medley arrangements from some of South Florida’s most talented composers and arrangers, Sarah Ruff, Wakiron Dunkley and Jeremy Jordon. This show is one for all generations! Join us for an exciting evening of music, dance, comedy, theater, poetry, film and fun times as we “Remember the Times” together.
A post-show Q&A will take place immediately following the performance as part of the Broward Center’s Arts for Action: Black Voices initiative focusing on how the arts and artists can be a force for change in addressing critical issues of social justice and racial inequality.
