This signature outdoor Main Library event will take place on the grounds of the adjacent Fort Lauderdale Women’s Club, with the Stranahan Park gazebo as center stage. Moonlight Tales will be hosted by Dr. Caren S. Neile and will feature adult storytelling performances by Connie Regan-Blake and Mariana Williams with musical performances by Randi Fishenfeld and Linda Kiley.
Connie Regan-Blake, one of America’s most celebrated storytellers, has performed and taught in 47 states, eighteen countries, and six continents and will spin some of her gorgeous renditions of classic folktales.
Mariana Williams is a GrandSlam finalist for the world-famous Moth Storytelling Slam, the producer of Long Beach Searches for the Greatest Storyteller, and will perform often-hilarious, always spine-tingling stories from her extraordinary life.
Violinist Randi Fishenfeld has played with the L.I. Symphony Orchestra, Air Supply, Foghat, B.B. King, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Journey, Kansas and Clarence Clemmons of Bruce Springsteen fame. She plays locally with the band Wildfire and the Klezmer Company Jazz Orchestra.
Linda Kiley began studying classical piano at age five and performed with the Los Angeles County Pathfinders Orchestra while still in middle school. Kiley thrills audiences with an eclectic mix of classical, rock, blues and jazz.
