Clarinetist Michael Winograd lives in Brooklyn. He performs with his Klezmer band the Honorable Mentshn, and in 2019 his newest full-length album Kosher Style was released. When not stuck at home due to an international pandemic and health crises, he travels the world playing and teaching Klezmer music. He co-leads Sandaraa with Pakistani vocalist Zeb Bangash, plays in the new music collective Pneuma Quartet, is the artistic director of KlezKanada, and in September 2019 played a solo doina to 14,000 confused but appreciate Vulfpeck fans, opening their show to a sold-out Madison Square Garden crowd.
