Ali Cultural Arts Center is thrilled to welcome The Melton Mustafa Jr and Friends concert to the stunning outdoor covered courtyard venue in Pompano Beach.

Melton Mustafa Orchestra started by the late Grammy® Award-winning artist Melton Mustafa but is now led by his son, Melton Mustafa, Jr., a renowned saxophone player. The orchestra is the only African American-led 18-piece jazz big band in South Florida.

On June 24th, the audience will experience a journey of music through time as told by Jazz through Melton Mustafa Jr and Friends. The performance will be led through the history and impact of music as told through musical performances the art of spoken word narrated by renowned poet Eccentrich. The concert celebrates music’s resilience and strength throughout history. Jazz will take the stage and weave beautiful movement and music to tell a story. This production will fill your cup and leave you moved and inspired. Join us for a night of music, good vibes, and storytelling. There will be a cash bar and light snacks.
