Melodious Music on Sarod and Tabla featuring Apratim Majumdar (Sarod), Shankhachur Lahiri (Tabla).

Apratim  Majumdar: has mastered Sarod, fretless string instrument of the lute family.  He was initially  tutored and groomed by Prof. Rabin Ghosh, disciple of Ustad Alauddin Khan in strict discipline and style of Senia Maihar Gharana. He also received training from Shree Partho Sarothy, disciple of Ustad Dhyanesh Khan and Pandit Ravi Shankar. Presently he is under the training of Dr. Pradip Kumar Chakraborty, one of the senior most disciples of Pt. Ravi Shankar. He is  performing throughout India and regularly traveling on concert tour to Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark, Austria , Netherlands and USA.

Shankhachur Lahiri: (Tabla) Shankhachur Lahiri comes from a family with a strong tradition of Indian Classical Music and has fully devoted his life to Music. As a child, he received intensive training in both vocal and tabla from his father and went on to graduate with a Sangeet Visharad in both subjects.He has accompanied and toured with many reputed and front ranking artists such as Pt. Jasraj, Ustad Shujaat khan, Ustad Shahid Parvez, Arati Ankalikar  and many more.
