Grab your baby, get all dolled up, and get ready to travel back in time to the roaring 20’s, because on this night only the Coral Springs Museum Art will transform into a speakeasy style hideaway complete with a red carpet entrance, secret entry password, music, dancing, silent movie projections, hors d’oveures, hand-crafted signature cocktails and a balloon raffle.
Artist Ira Bruce Reines, protégé of the incomparable Erté, will be in attendance as the Museum formally opens its newest exhibit “A Reflection of Erté”. An unveiling of a unique piece donated to the Coral Springs Museum by Ira Reines and Masterpiece Publishing will occur this evening, making this a remarkable event and evening for all.
The Masterpiece event is one of the most anticipated art events in South Florida and is sponsored, in part, by Publix Supermarket Charities, Masterpiece Publishing, State of Florida Division of Cultural Affairs, Broward Cultural Division, Coral Springs Festival of the Arts, and the City of Coral Springs. Proceeds from the event help support the Museum’s educational and specialty programming that serves children in Title I schools, veterans and children with autism spectrum disorder in addition to the Broward County community.
