Margaret Cho’s stand-up career started at age 14, when she won a comedy contest to open for Jerry Seinfeld in the early ‘90s. She soon moved to Los Angeles and, still in her twenties, hit the college circuit, where she became the most booked act in the market and garnered a nomination for “Campus Comedian of The Year.” She performed over 300 concerts within two years.
More than anything else, Margaret Cho is unconditionally, unapologetically herself. A comedian with more than a few albums and specials under her belt, Cho is the champion of debunking taboo subjects like sex, race, world politics, sexual orientation, and womanhood (to name a few) with her unabashed, sure-fire humor.
Career Highlights: Nine comedy specials, two musical/comedy albums; star in off-Broadway “I’m The One That I Want” and historic TV show “All American Girl;” documentary #BeRobin, role on Lifetime’s “Drop Dead Diva;” host of TLC’s “All About SEX;” cohost of E!’s “Fashion Police;” contestant on season 11 of “Dancing With the Stars” and “The Masked Singer;” and the winner of countless awards for comedy, acting, and her anti-racism, anti-bullying, homeless, and gay rights efforts.
She is ready to get back on the road in 2023. Don’t miss one night with Margaret Cho!
