Writers and readers come together for a day of free literary growth through “Tell Your Story. It’s Your Write!” With 18 programs held in five rooms, the event offers a day of panel discussions, writing workshops, an animation showcase, food trucks and hands-on fun.

Special celebrity guests: keynote speaker James Grippando and fellow New York Times bestselling author Charles Todd
The free program of lectures, panel discussions and workshops for adults covers additional topics including: Writing for Children, Thriller/Suspense vs. Traditional/Cozy Mystery, Choose Your Genre, Guess Your Poison, Women in Animation, Why Do You Do What You Do, Reminiscence Writing, Criteria for Critique, Plotting Made Perfect, Get Started Writing Your Novel, Busting Out of the Pain, To Agent or Not to Agent, Researching your Novel and accessing Universal Class: Writing 101. Offerings for younger readers and writers include Tell Your Story Book-Making Fun for ages 5 -11 and Create Your Own Journal with artist M.
