Staged by the critically acclaimed Slow Burn Theatre Company, Junie B. Jones, The Musical is a colorful, funny, fast-paced musical about new friends, new glasses, sugar cookies, the annual kickball tournament and other angst-ridden situations faced in the first grade. The musical is based on the book series by Barbara Park that features the outspoken, precocious, lovable Junie B. Jones, who writes down the story of her life in her “Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal.” Recommended for grades K-3, this production is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). Each show in The Broward Center 2019–2020 Family Fun Series presented by Hoffman’s Chocolates includes free pre-show arts activities and post-show treats provided by Hoffman’s Chocolates.
