Comedian Joel McHale will take the stage in The Pavilion at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on Friday, November 9, at 8 p.m.

McHale, one of the most sought after comedians and actors in the entertainment industry, is best known for his starring role in the hit comedy series “Community.” He also hosted “The Soup,” a satirical weekly television show on the “E!” network which took the audience through the oddities and ridiculous happenings of the week in television.

Born in Rome, Italy and raised in Seattle, Washington, McHale played the lead role in the CBS sitcom “The Great Indoors” for a season. In 2018, he was cast in the recurring role of Chris on the second season of the Netflix horror-comedy series “Santa Clarita Diet.”

Last February, McHale began hosting his own talk show on Netflix – “The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale” – which combines celebrity guests, pre-taped sketches and video clips in a half-hour series that focuses on pop culture and news from around the world.

The former University of Washington football player also made his debut as an author in the fall of 2016 after releasing his book “Thanks For the Money: How to Use My Life Story to Become the Best Joel McHale You Can Be.” It is part memoir and a part self-help guide.

McHale has also hosted a number of prominent events over the years including the White House Correspondents Association Dinner, the ESPY Awards and the People’s Choice Awards.
