On Saturday, September 17th, 2016, HANDY (Helping Abused, Neglected, Disadvantaged Youth) will host its Second Annual Schoolapalooza at ArtsUP in Fort Lauderdale’s FATVillage.  Last year, 250 people attended this unique, fun event which raised over $100,000 for HANDY’s remarkable children.  This year will be bigger and better! Guests of our “speakeasy” themed soiree will enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres courtesy of popular Fort Lauderdale eateries, musical entertainment, a special performance by HANDY children and amazing live and silent auctions. The brainchild of HANDY Board Member Marcelle Abell-Rosen, M.D., Schoolapalooza raises funds to support HANDY’s core programming and provides back-to-school necessities for the most disadvantaged children in our community.
