Join us for the annual Halloween Spooktacular as we gather for a fun Virtual celebration! We are excited to present “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” puppet show by Steven’s Puppets, a costume contest, Halloween craft & more!
*Steven’s Puppets performs internationally and is looking forward to their first performance for Broward County Library. There will be a question & answer after the show.

In this silly and non-scary version of Washington Irving’s classic piece of literature, children of all ages will follow the lanky school master, Ichabod Crane, as he sings, dances, and falls in love with a giggly, Katrina Van Tassel.
(The music used in this production was composed by Domenico Scarlatti. However, The Headless Horseman chase music is “Night on Bald Mountain”, composed by Modest Mussorgsky.)**Costume Contest! (Ages 0-18) Dress up as your favorite character from a book. Snap a photo holding the book and email to: westregyouth@gmail.com for a chance to win a Spooktacular prize basket! The winner will be announced at the end of the program.

***Halloween Craft- make a fun spooky craft. You can create along with us or make the craft later. The craft will be available at “curbside pickup” at the West Regional Library beginning October 12 through October 31.
