After stunning audiences when she recently opened for Nickel Creek, Grammy Award Winner Gaby Moreno returns to the Broward Center. The singer and songwriter’s warm and soulful sound offers an intoxicating invitation into a musical world for English and Spanish speakers alike. The Guatemala native has released eight albums earning 4 Grammy nominations for “Illusion” (Best Latin Pop Album, 2017) , “Alegoría” (Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album, 2022), “X Mí (Vol. 1)” (Best Latin Pop Album – 2023) and for producing legendary cuban singer Omara Portuondo’s album “Vida” (Best Latin Tropical Album – 2023). She won a Latin Grammy for “Best New Artist” (2013). Gaby’s tantalizing lead single “Luna de Xelajú” featuring Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-nominated actor, producer, and musician Oscar Isaac has received critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Variety, Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, People en Español, Popsugar, Latina Magazine, and CNN en Español.
Gaby co-wrote the Emmy nominated theme song for the NBC TV series Parks and Recreation. Audiences may also recognize her voice from the characters and theme song on the multiple Emmy Award-winning Disney children’s TV series, “Elena of Avalor,” which features Disney’s first Latina princess.
