Meet some new slimy and scaly reptile friends at the next Free Arts! Family Day. Ever wonder how a gecko walks on a wall without falling? Or how a snake uses its tongue to smell? Solve these and other mysteries by asking our reptile expert and having an up-close encounter with various live tetrapod vertebrates during this free STEAM-themed art activity. With a focus on the science that classifies these animals as Reptilia, participants will create their own reptile-inspired artwork to take home and exhibit.
Event includes free admission to the exhibition Frimaire is the Color of Adolescent Sunset in our contemporary galleries.
This program is funded in part by PNC Foundation, Citizens Interested in Arts, and City of Hollywood General Fund Social Service Agency Grant.
