Fort Lauderdale’s July 4th Celebration to Feature Fireworks Around the City
Neighbors Encouraged to Enjoy the Fireworks Shows from Home!
Get ready for fireworks shows that neighbors can enjoy from the comfort of home as the City of Fort Lauderdale presents its annual 4th of July Spectacular!
This year, due to COVID-19 restrictions on public gatherings, Fort Lauderdale’s Independence Day Celebration will feature fireworks shows in four areas of the City: Holiday Park, U.S. 1 and Sunrise Boulevard (18-minute show); City Hall, Andrews Avenue and NE 1 Street (18-minute show); Carter Park, Sunrise Boulevard and NW 16 Avenue (18-minute show); and the Beach Community Center, A1A and Oakland Park Boulevard (10-minute close proximity show).
The shows will not be open to spectators and no pedestrians or vehicles will be allowed access to the areas where the shows are located.
Neighbors are encouraged to enjoy the fireworks shows beginning at 9:00 p.m. from their backyards, front porches, patios, balconies or virtually on:
