As a proud steward of our community’s past helping to make our heritage accessible and engaging to residents and visitors, The Fort Lauderdale Historical Society will partner with the Fort Lauderdale Woman’s Club to offer a festive luncheon in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. Enjoy short presentations about Ivy’s remarkable contributions to our city and region including her role as the first local schoolteacher. The event will serve as a kick-off to Women’s History Month.
