The inaugural ‘Florida Panthers Stache Dash 5K’ presented by Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, part of the University of Miami Health System, will take place between Friday, Nov. 20 and Monday, Nov. 23.   This virtual run is designed to raise awareness for men’s cancer research and prevention.

Panthers fans and mustache enthusiasts across the globe are encouraged to participate in this virtual run and contribute to the cause by raising awareness on social media platforms.

Fans can choose from two different race packages:

  • VIP package, $55, includes participation in the race, virtual race bib, official race medal, exclusive mustache mask and a lower level game voucher for a future Panthers game.
  • GA package, $25, includes participation in race, virtual race bib, official race medal and exclusive mustache mask.

Fans who do not want to participate in the race but would like to contribute to the cause via monetary donation can visit FlaPanthers.Givesmart.com.

Throughout the weekend, participants are encouraged to share photos or videos of their run tagging @FlaPanthers and @SylvesterCancer for the chance to be featured on the Panthers social media channels and website. Fans are asked to post short videos completing the sentence “I Run For ___.”

Participants are asked to follow the below safety guidelines during the Stache Dash:

  • Practice social distance while running.
  • Avoid using public water fountains, restrooms, and touching cross walk buttons.
  • Stay home if you are not feeling well.
