Change in Chamber Music Concert Date to July 11 from July 8.  A trio from Excelsa Quartet performs “almost as one organism,  playing … so connected, as if they were tied together with a wide white satin ribbon with a big bow in front.”  Excelsa has entertained the nation from the Smithsonian Museum of American History on the Smithsonian Institute’s collection of Stradivarius instruments.  Repertoire includes: Schubert’s String Trio in B Flat Major, D. 471; Haydn’s String Trio in G Major, Op. 53, No. 1; Kodaly’s Intermezzo for String Trio; and Beethoven’s String Trio in G Major, Op. 9, No. 1.
