Doktor Kaboom’s “The Wheel of Science” finds him having trouble picking his favorite science demonstration, so he’s built a great big spinning wheel and labeled it with everything from optical illusions to chemical reactions to a homemade hovercraft and more. Wherever the wheel stops, that’s what’s next and it could be: turn a water bottle into a rocket, catapult bananas across the stage, electrocute a pickle or create artificial gravity.  The performance is recommended for grades 3–6. JM Family Enterprises Smart Stage Matinees offer literature-based shows that promote reading skills and S.T.E.A.M. (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) to make challenging concepts accessible to younger learners.
