Creativity Exploration: Intention Boxes

One of NSU Art Museum’s most popular education programs, Creativity Exploration promotes the development of creativity and self-expression through art-making and the practice of mindfulness. On Saturday, August 14, join educator and mindfulness instructor Lark Keeler for a Zoom class inspired by the art of Joseph Cornell, design and decorate a container to house your desires, intentions, visions, and hopes for the future you wish to curate.

No prior experience is necessary.

Advance reservations required, space is limited. Materials should be obtained prior to the class.

Project Materials:

  • Cigar boxes, paper mache boxes, old jewelry boxes or repurposed boxes
  • Wet glue or glue stick
  • Magazines and other collaging materials
  • Permanent markers, paint pens, and other mark making tools
  • Scissors
  • Decorative tape
