United Way of Broward County’s Commission on Behavioral Health & Drug Prevention and The Weston Alliance for Youth (WAY) to host a “Community Chat for Parents and Teens on Mental Health & Suicide Prevention” Town Hall Meeting at the Weston Community Center on October 27 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The community chat style meeting will feature a professionally led panel discussion with a teen moderator focusing on mental health and suicide prevention. Parents and teens are invited to engage with the panel to discuss ways to help youth, families, friends, and neighbors in their communities.
This event is FREE and open to the public and will offer giveaways, refreshments, community service hours and meaningful conversation!
