The Las Olas Association is very excited to invite you to our 61st Annual Christmas on Las Olas, being held on Tuesday, November 28th, 2023 from 5-10 pm on the iconic Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale. COLO 2023 is going to be better than ever and here are some things that you’ll want to know about this year’s event.
As it does each year, this traditional kickoff to our holiday season will bring thousands of people of all ages to our beautiful Las Olas Boulevard. The boulevard will be closed off to traffic from SE 6th Avenue to SE 11th Avenue and will be decorated with festive Christmas lights, holiday décor, revelers donning Christmas and Elf attire, and of course lots of holiday cheer. As you stroll along Las Olas, you will be treated to 30 live performances on our three entertainment stages located on 6th Avenue, 8th Avenue and 10th Avenue with singers, dancers, and theatrical artists, and of course, the big guy himself, Santa Claus.
There will be kids and adults of all ages representing many local schools and arts organizations putting on special shows for your holiday enjoyment. And , as always, the many wonderful shops, restaurants, and galleries on Las Olas will be festive and looking forward to your visit on this magical night!
The amazing 75’ Snow Mountain will be back to give you a thrilling holiday ride and the skating rink will be waiting for you to bring back those memories or to create new ones for all ages. As you make your way along the boulevard taking in the sights and sounds, you’ll also find a few of our famous “Elf Pubs” to serve you a variety of adult and non-adult holiday libations.
The community-focused event offers guests the opportunity to support the local non-profit organizations including The American Lung Association, Las Olas Capital Arts, The Florida Children’s Theatre, the Salvation Army, Catholic Health Services, First Presbyterian Church of Fort Lauderdale, and the Miami City Ballet.
