Support the opportunity for children to launch their very own startup business!
Our young entrepreneurs will be able to develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at our half-day marketplace.
We will host up to 35 booth spaces on Sunday, December 4th from 10:00am – 1:00pm, at Esplanade Park – across the street from the Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS).
This event is hosted by Acton Academy Fort Lauderdale, and the generous support of our sponsors, donors and volunteers. We all believe that principled entrepreneurs are heroes and role models for the next generation.
The Children’s Business Fair is open to all families who want their child (ages 7-14) to have the opportunity to:
- Make something with his or her own hands
- Sell it (safely) to a stranger
- Experience the freedom (and responsibility) of having a little extra spending money as a reward
Whether an entrepreneur is famous like Elon Musk and Oprah Winfrey or they are one of the thousands of unsung business owners across this country, these are the people who make sacrifices to innovate, create jobs and serve their communities.
