Business for the Arts of Broward (BFA) is hosting its final Cultural Tour of 2018 in Broward County from 8:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on Friday, November 16. Presented by Hoffman’s Chocolates, this fully-guided tour takes Broward’s business executives on a guided tour of some of 12 featured public art pieces in Broward County:

Sailfish in the Three Stages of Ascending (1990) by Kent Ullberg at the Convention Center; Dazzle (2016) by David Dahlquist at Port Everglades; New Artwork by Poetic Kinetics at Port Everglades’ south entrance; Accordant Zones (1994) by Barbara Neijna & Ned Smyth at the Judicial Complex; Untitled (1984) by Ivan Chermayeff and Solar Time Plane (1986) by Dale Eldred at the Main Library; Stair #1: Arquitectonica (1988) by Laurinda Spear at the Downtown Bus Terminal; Unitas (1993) by William King at the Public Safety Building; Pillars of the Community (1997) by Chisseko Kondowe at Delevoe Park; The Harrambe Room (2003) by Cheryl Foster and Feathers of Hope (2015) by Nathan Delinois at the Mills Center; and Whirls and Swirls and a Vortex on Water (2008) by Alice Aycock at the Central Broward Regional Park.

Participants will meet at Port Everglades in Terminal 2 and return there at the end of the tour. Venues are subject to change. The tour cost is $50 and includes breakfast, lunch, transportation, networking, admission and the guided tour. Guests are required to register by November 5. Limited space so register early!
