Celebrating its 35th Anniversary this year, Broward Education Foundation will honor seven outstanding community luminaries and champions in education who are alumni of Broward County Public Schools at its annual Hall of Fame Awards Breakfast on Friday, October 12. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church – Global Grille, 301 E. Broward Blvd in Fort Lauderdale. Individual tickets are $50. There will be a tribute to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School.
