angela-duckworthIn its fourth year, Broward College Speaker Series continues to feature notable speakers from a variety of backgrounds to educate and enlighten the community on a variety of topics. From current events in our nation, to the study behind character traits that determine success, this year’s selected speakers will bring their personal perspectives on the world around us.

The final speaker of the 2017 series is Angela Duckworth, a professor of psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, co-founder of the Character Lab and a TED Talks phenomenon. Her first book, Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance, was an immediate New York Times bestseller. Her speech will be titled True Grit: The Science of Success. Who succeeds in life?
