The Chorale’s 2017-18 Season closes with Johannes Brahms’ 1868 masterpiece Ein Deutsches Requiem (“A German Requiem”), described by one critic as “an irresistible force…heaven on Earth.” Unlike most requiems, the work focuses on the living and creates a sympathetic humanistic effect transitioning from anxiety to comfort.  Master Chorale welcomes highly regarded artistic partner, Lynn Philharmonia, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of this astounding musical achievement.
