In partnership with the South Florida People of Color, Barry University’s College of Arts and Sciences Africana Studies Program invites you to participate in the Black History Month Speaker Series on Health, Race, and Trust.

On February 22nd, 2021, at 6:00 PM, join us for the second installment where award-winning author, Harriet Washington, will discuss her book, Medical Apartheid, which chronicles the medical experimentation on African Americans from the era of slavery to the present day. Ms. Washington will explore environmental racism and the COVID-19 vaccine.

Dr. Pamela D. Hall, Associate Professor of Psychology and Africana Studies Program Director will moderate both events.
